I have attended Summer Conference through Career Tech each August for a two day training covering a wide variety of activities and speakers giving insight to the most current information in Technology Education. I have also attended and got certified to teach Archery in the Schools, Oklahoma Scholastic Shooting Sports Program, Fishing in the Schools, Bow-Fishing in the Schools, Fishing in the Schools, and Oklahoma Hunters Safety Training through the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife. I have also attended the Project Wild and Project Wet trainings.
I have been teaching in Salina for the past ten years, currently teaching Technology Education/Outdoor Education.
I taught at Welch for three years before coming to Salina.
Previous work experiences were farming and ranching,as well as construction which we use some in class learning some concrete work, basic wiring and plumbing and some framing.
All of my hobbies involve the outdoors Hunting and Fishing and farming and ranching on a small scale. I am blessed to have family that have passed this heritage down and I have continued to pass it down to my sons.
